I have candles on my alter and final night it kept flickering when i remember i was thinking about Gaia or something. Is Demeter the equivalent to Gaia? In that location are different opinions on this, simply in my opinion, people trying to mesh Wicca and Christianity are usually not practicing either.... they're just misnaming their beliefs.

For example, information technology's not Wicca without a God & Goddess (that duality is a key tenet). However, the Christian God volition not willingly be worshipped alongside a Goddess, it would be dishonoring both Him and Her.

In Wicca, we see extremes as complimentary, the goal in life is to find balance between them; in Christianity, the extremes are seen as opposing, the goal is to choose ane side (God'southward side) or the other.

At that place is such a thing as Christo-Paganism, and Christian Witchcraft... just Christian Wicca doesn't really make sense.

Hi there; if information technology is something very perishable I normally have it away by the end of the day and I return it to the earth style back in my yard. If it's semi-perishable, like bread or something, I take it abroad in the morning before my adjacent offer.

When I lived in apartments and didn't have a yard I would avert doing anything too perishable and opt instead for some herbs or bread or honey or something, and I kept a java can with a lid behind my chantry. I would put the offerings in there, and and then when I went out for nature hikes I'd bring it and bury information technology.

Some people do just throw the offerings in the trash later a little while, because they experience that the energy has been taken and used already. That's okay also if it feels correct to yous.

I accept petty idea if it is true or if I am fabricating a calling but I was reminded of my now deceased grandmother and looked up her grave site online only to fall in a rabbit hole and was looking at my grandfathers dead brothers, i felt a warm sadness but not a normal distressing. I'm non sure if it's a sign or not, just a year or and so agone I was on a walk with my friend, we were both having a horrible week and decided we needed to yell out our frustrations on a walk (which is okay since my neighborhood is surrounded by woods and dirt roads). It was getting close to nighttime when we decided to head back to my house and the sky was filled with many beautiful colors such as pink, orange, purple, and red. Nonetheless it was likewise storming that 24-hour interval but it wasn't to bad, nevertheless, there was a strike of purple lightning in the heaven, and not even a few minutes afterwards a deer ran out of the woods, sparing usa a minutes glance before running away. It may not be a sign and that's fine, but, I am quiet curious at present.

A few years agone...it was pouring and i was going through a really bad office of my life, and every bit i was walking something in me told me to wait down and when i did, there was a rock (that now, nearly 6 years later, i found out is sodalite). Simply in between i was in deep slumber and i saw myself meditating while visualizing a white prism.... I visualized it for about.. I don't know... 5 seconds and then i opened my eyes... I think it was a sign of vodou goddess AYIDA cause if light is passed through a white prism a spectrum or rainbow is formed and SHE IS THE GODDESS OF RAINBOW AND WHITE IS HER Colour... And then I remember that when I since I was kid I tin somehow hear voices coming from trees and I one time had a dream with fire in that dream there was a female figure (i couldn't see her merely it seemed a female) and she said something to me I could not fully understand since I was a kid I always had a matter for magic and witches (merely 'cause I was born in Halloween LOL) so I idea it was someone I met on my past life. When I was about my fifteen (I'm at present seventeen) I saw some other dream with what information technology seemed to be the same female figure merely this time I could hear her voice although when I woke up I don't think what kind of vocalisation it was I still call back clearly what "it" (?) said "can you fulfill your mission dream hunter?" and for three days I e'er dreamt with the same effigy over and over once again she e'er said dissimilar things simply in the end she e'er called me "dream hunter" so I started recording all my dreams for almost a month and she never appeared again. is this something near to a "calling"? Or is this simply my imagination?

so super new to this and going to read more into information technology, I told a friend who also recently started I would endeavor meditating to come across if i got an answer because I too was searching for a path myself , I've e'er been a spiritual person, simply felt lost for a while at present. Then comes the dark Im gonna try to meditate, its on Friday the 13th with a total moon, i was like nows gotta be the best fourth dimension right!... nothing, wasnt sure if i was too tired, or just plainly did it wrong, but i got null, wasnt disappointed, figured i'd try again another time. While lying downward last dark, i figured i'd try to articulate my mind once again because i was already in a rested country, and within a infinitesimal a minute an image started to form, My outset thought was a butterfly, but i also thought it might exist an affections or faerie, it had a center torso with iv wings, but my outset thought is butterfly. As i read into it this morning with my friend cause i wanted to see what it represented(Butterfly),it hits everything that has been going on in my life recently. Transformation: I've lost weight and put on muscle from eating better and my job is a work out, just also have been going to mental changes for the better too!. Liberation: For the start fourth dimension in my life in 35 years, I am completely self sufficient and in my own identify. And Creative Inspiration: I have been recently writing poems again to assistance people empathize what i've been going through and besides getting amend, and i haven't written in over 15 years that i tin can remember. This has all happened with the last few weeks. Checked into it further, Its in relation to the globe and air element. Im a Taurus... Globe Element. sooooooo yea... Looks like im going to be doing more studying cause i don't know how many more answers i needed XD

When i first became Wiccan and began to practise green witchcraft about 4 yrs ago i didnt really have a calling from whatsoever God/Goddess, but felt drawn towards Gaia( Mother Earth) and then i worshipped her. This past year though ive been noticing frogs everywhere i am specially in my "witches garden" mainly under my peppermint amd lemon balm plants, besides in my pumpkin patch, hiking in the forest with my dogs, and just playing outside with my daughters. I just figured they must exist my spirit animal, which i thought is awesome cause ive always loved frogs and toads. Then after reading this article i idea maybe this is a calling of a god/goddess i should be worshipping. I did some enquiry and found out the god/goddess that os represented by the frog is Heqet Egyptian Goddess of fertility and Egyptian God Khnum god of the source of the Nile and creator of homo children bodies. Heqet'south proper noun is also sought to exist the origin for the name Hecate the Greek Goddess of witchcraft. The more than i read near these God and Goddess the more everything just clicked, everything they represent is how i feel my life, and witchcraft is represented too, and i knew this is who my deities should be. Give thanks you lot for this article it explained deities in a mode i found easier to understand and then the way a lot of my traditional Wiccan books try to explicate deities, how to cull, and worshipping them.

So lately I have been feeling a footling more confident in myself and developing more self dearest. Where I live (almost some woods) we take wild deer pretty often, but depends on the fourth dimension of twelvemonth I think. Twice, I have felt similar a deer has appeared out of nowhere because I did not encounter it earlier it ran and I was looking in areas that I should have seen information technology before it ran (this happened twice a few weeks apart). We besides take rabbits on our property (we've had them for years) and I see lizards every now and then. Then this morning when I was meditating, I felt cold chills almost the entire time. I accept a fan on in my room, but it doesn't accident on me or in my management when I meditate and I have never experienced these chills before when I meditated. I employ iv stones in like a circle formation when I meditate and 1 is rose quartz and one is amethyst, I do not remember the other two. Idk if any of these are possible signs of a god or goddess calling me. I am new to Wicca and trying to learn all I can. I can't openly practice considering of my family unit but I practise what I can. Anyone have whatever ideas?

Hi, I've been reading a bunch of articles on wicca, including many of yours, and I proceed seeing people refer to or mention "the goddess", equally in maxim that they prayed to "the goddess" or "the goddess and god". Is this a wicca specific deity? I idea it might be the triple goddess, but i'grand not sure, and if information technology is the triple goddess i'm not sure if you refer to her in the plural or atypical, and so i'm hoping you could help articulate things upwards a fleck for me. :)

When I was thirteen my parents were beating on me very desperately and i concluded upwardly running out into the woods in the center of a blizzard and stayed out there in a tee shirt for hours, i spent a very long fourth dimension wandering the woods not one time feeling cold simply instead feeling warm and protected. Im not sure what divine presence was comforting me but it was in that location. I was a christian for a long time and recently i started my journey into wicca and when ready of some peoples experiences this came to mind. I ended up getting lost in the woods. But once i airtight my eyes and took a few deep breaths it was similar i knew exactly where to go and walked straight home from at that place

I know this might sound crazy simply when I was younger I was playing in the dark with my sister and saw xanthous butterflies flying in a circumvolve in front of me. Years later I was in my pool out back and a blue butterfly landed on my finger and stayed at that place for about 10 minutes so it flew to the border of the pool and sat for a good fifteen minutes. Two days ago I went to a store and saw a random painting of a butterfly and on my manner out of the store a white butter wing flew so close to my face it almost hitting me. Now as I blazon this I was wondering what my spirit guide was and at that exact moment a butterfly commercial came on. This is and so crazy and not merely a coincidence. Do any i know what books to read to notice a butterfly god/goddess?

I am constantly open. Have been since a kid. The last two years I began seeing Anubis, Ishtar, sekhmet, Horus and Nisrock. About often whyilw scything I see istar and Anubis. I am One-half Assyrian and these visions accept actually brought me sensation of my civilization. Constantly seeking more. Today I saw a bison, equus caballus, serpent, spider , goat , eagle , owl and falcon. More than I have seen in i session. However the most awesome role of today was seeing Anubis face to face. The mirror laying downward and clear as day he rose from the mirror and was face up to face with me. I did not feel fear merely rather love, security and a feeling of seeing an erstwhile friend I oasis't seen in a long time. Followed by that vision was a vision of ane pyramid. The. Seven and the sphinx. One equally if I were looking down and another as if I was looking at it from ground view. This was immediately following seeing Anubis who presented several more than times. All happened inside twenty minutes. I have always had abilities. Since I was a child. Over the last three years I take finally embraced them but I notwithstanding accept no idea what the meaning is of seeing him so vividly and face to face. Any thoughts?
